The American Association of Non-Retired Persons is a source of information for those concerned about America's looming financial disaster - the unfunded and bankrupting liabilities of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. More importantly, we fear that these huge costs are irresponsibly being shoved onto the backs of the current generation of workers and future generations to come.
Unfortunately, most young people have enough problems in the present moment to be too concerned about the future. Too few of us believe that our elders would 'really' sell us down the river, and just assume everything will be alright. History tells us a different story, however, as other nations both past and present have encountered similar demographic challenges.
